Is everything that you make really natural?

Yes! We use the finest natural ingredients we can find. This includes herbs, butters, and natural oils. We check all of our ingredients in compliance with the EWG Skin Deep® Cosmetics Database. All of our ingredients are rated 1-2 on the scale (excellent).

What is the shelf life of your products?

Since our products are botanical and we use low toxicity level preservatives, our products have a shelf life of between 12-24 months. To prolong shelf life, keep all Somerset Moss products out of direct sunlight and at room temperature or below.

Your shipping rates seem high, why is that?

We have chosen to use glass to maintain the purity of our product and this is quite heavy to mail.

Terms and Conditions

We ship within Canada via Canada Post and USA via USPS (thru Canada Post). Unfortunately, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes at this time and are unable to send packages to international countries* or destinations via the online shopping cart. (USA is the 48 adjoining States including Hawaii and Alaska).

If you are interested in an overseas delivery please contact us at and we can get you some shipping prices. Quotes are given on an individual basis.

TRACKING
When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment - this email will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
If Customs charges occur please note that you, as the buyer, are 100% responsible for the fees. We, the seller, are not responsible for customs charges. Please note that international orders can take up to 4 weeks to arrive after they are shipped since all orders must pass through customs and the time frame that this takes is, unfortunately, out of our hands. 

ORDER ISSUES
If you have any problems with your order (not received, not what you were expecting, etc.), please contact us and we will try our best to resolve any situations that arise. We want you to be happy with your Somerset Moss experience! Please keep in mind that the products you are buying are made in small batches and this sometimes creates seasonal variations in colour.

DAMAGES
If you receive a damaged item, contact us at . We will happily replace any damaged items provided they are reported within 48 hours of order delivery.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Your satisfaction is our top priority and we will do everything we can to ensure that you are happy with your  purchase. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@somersetmoss.com at anytime if you are unhappy with your order. In most cases, returns are processed as store-credit or exchange due to the nature of our products.  If you are unhappy please reach out to us within 30 days of purchase. There must be 50% or more of the product left in the bottle/jar in order to receive store credit or to warrant an exchange. If a product arrives broken or damaged, we are happy to send a replacement. However a photograph as proof of the damage/defect is required. Please note that will do not refund the shipping cost as it is directly paid to our providers. For international orders, if your package is unclaimed and returned back to us, we may refund the amount of the products but the shipping cost will not be refunded. Somerset Moss is not responsible for any additional shipping costs for returns, and we do not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit.
